While writing or reading I normally work in my room. There has to be a balance of noise and silence. I was asked to determine the distractions while completing an assignment. I realized that I do not get distracted that often, I just can not write a whole paper in one sitting. I need to get up walk around watch an episode on Netflix and then go back to writing.

It’s great that you are able to keep distractions from interrupting your studying! My work cycle is similar to yours, except I find that I am more likely to do a chore when I’m taking a break from working. This allows me to move around and do something less mentally engaging (like laundry). I find it helps me especially when I am feeling tired or unable to figure out how to approach a problem. It also makes it easier to go back to working since I’m not really enjoying the chore!
